Technology's operations management system BazeField has been chosen by
StatoilHydro for use on the company's wind park.
BazeField is a system based on the flow of information to improve integrated operations. Baze Techology received the contract despite hard competition with other companies including international competitors. - Our knowledge and competence within working processes and the know-how in the development of the software that supports this has been our benefits, says director for market and strategy in Baze Technology, Christian Rambech Dahl. - BazeField is based on roles which makes it possible for the organization to have information flow and skins that are adjusted every persons role in the organization, says Dahl. BazeField will first be implemented in a pilot project on the Havøygavlen wind park in Finnmark, Northern Norway. - Based on our experience from the offshore oil and gas operations we know that integrated operations improve efficiency and accuracy significantly. We wish to forward this competence to our wind park operations, and thereby improve the communication and stimulate to a better involvement from all personnel, says Sverre Trollnes, project manager in StatoilHydro.
