The best of both worlds
Two of Norway's best offshore magazines, Oilinfo News and PETROmagazine, has joined forces. We are produ to present PetroNews; a brand new magazine for the offshore industry. By combining the editorial competence and dedication of Oilinfo and PetroMedia, the new launch will not just replace our two long-running magazines, but give birth to the most complete oil, gas and offshore industry magazine in Norway. It will be the best of both worlds, more ambitious and focused than ever before.
The new magazine was launched at Offshore Europe 2009 in Aberdeen.
Published quarterly, PetroNews builds on two of the best offshore industry magazines in Norway, Oilinfo News and
Petromagasinet.
The key elements and main focus for our new product are business opportunities and industrial and social value creation. Basically, we aim to provide our readers with the information necessary to make the right decisions, do good business, think new and stay ahead of the game. As a major industry magazine, PetroNews will not just inform, comment and enlighten, but also guide, promote advancement and stimulate positive industry movers.
Language-wise, PetroNews will mainly be published in Norwegian, with English bullet points and summaries catching the essence of every article, to the benefit of our foreign readers. The only exception is every third issue annually, which will be published in English to better reach the thousands of industry professionals gathered at ONS and/or Offshore Europe.
In addition to focusing on new main subjects in each issue, every magazine will offer extensive coverage of new technologies, contract updates, environmental news, and focus on renewable energy, politics, market movements and news recaps.
