Oilinfo web
An industry portal to reckon with

TIDLIG UTE: Vi har vært på nett i tolv år. Det er lengre enn de fleste.

 1996: In all it's simplicity,
www.oilinfo.no was a solid and functional home page.

DEN GANG DA: Vi begynte som en lenkeside. Slik så det ut i 2002. Føles lenge siden...

2002: Still primarily a link page.

FEM ÅR SENERE: Var vi en av Norges beste nyhetssider for offshoreindustrien.

2007:A four year old design.
We were ready for an update.

MODERNE: i 2008 var det på tide å fornye seg. Det vil våre lesere også merke, på alle positive måter.

2008: A new profile, a new year and new opportunities.
Oilinfo keeps improving.

Oilinfo.no started out as a simple start- and link page for people in the oil and gas industry, and frankly, that worked very well. The industry, however, is changing by the hour, and we quickly realized the need for a dynamic editorial staff to keep track of it all. Although we eased into it, we soon developed our editoral section to become one of the most efficient and wide-covering oil and gas news reporters in Norway.

As our editorial staff grew, we also expanded our coverage and ambitions. In 2006, we launched our UK sister site www.oilinfo.co.uk. Both websites aim to be a window to the Norwegian oil and gas industry.

Oilinfo has a strong supplier side focus. In addition to our other main areas of focus, including integrated operations, HSE, competence and technology, we quickly established ourselves as a preferred source of information.

Statistics prove it. Between mid-2005 and fall 2007, our three websites saw an increase in daily users averaging a massive 430%. Over 4.000 unique users stop by our Norwegian website every day. We've must have done something right.

Independent!
We do what we can to be as independent, neutral and balanced as possible.

We also take pride in following strict ethical guidelines for editorial content. Everything we publish is according to rules and regulations set out by the Norwegian Press Association, ensuring that no advertisments, paid articles or biased editorial content is published. Not all websites in our business follow those rules. We're proud to, and are confident it's fot the better for our readers, the industry and ourselves.

You can rest assured that the contents found on all our websites are unpaid for, unbiased, results of grey deals or barters. Our main intention is to advocate business opportunities and provide good reader experiences to the public.

We hope oilinfo.co.uk is to your liking. Please feel free to comment. We will still only get better.
