- Bridge Energy is continually seeking to optimize its portfolio of assets and to utilize the company's resources in the most efficient way. The introduction of a strategic partner would allow the company to pursue additional growth options in parallel with the development of its UK gas portfolio, the company writes in a stock exchange release.

Bridge also reports that they remain committed to the development projects, and will retain a material interest and operatorship after any sale.

The company has hired London investment bank Jefferies International to assist in the process.
