SRU double for Brazil

Aker Solutions have been chosen to handle sulphate removal on two FPSOs offshore Brazil. Contract value is approximately NOK 240 million.

The two Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel are currently operating offshore Brazil, and the Norwegian solution was chosen by operator Petrobras.

The contract includes, among other things, two sulphate removal systems (SRU) and related equipment.

- The Brazil market is rapidly growing, and the kind of solutions offered by Aker Solutions have great potential, says Ronaldo Ribeiro, manager of Aker Solutions process systems, in a comment.
